I got a sata jet gravity fed as it uses less paint not sure how much 1/4 tube is going to use but i think gravity fed is way to go becuase of this

What does the coating compare to as far as grip textures?
Super Grip feels like a cross between fine-grit sandpaper and velvet. It has a soft texture that’s comfortable to the touch, yet offers a firm, non-slip surface. Think of it as a velvety sandpaper-smooth but with just the right amount of grip

I did this and the lens is more clear. However, when the lights are on, I see lines and pitting across the lens. I did one side while my son did the other. Both had this effect when the headlights are turned on. Now, I'm afraid I won't pass inspection despite all the work we put in.

What do you have the psi to your compressor set at? Also, where do you have the airflow set to? Love your products. use them all the time. Trying to dial it. In even further. My issue is it seems I’ve been getting a lot of dry spray. I’m trying to figure out how to get that to Stop. Assuming I don’t have air inlet opened up enough. Also, what blast media grit are you using?
I use the black widow airbrush.
The problem with the airbrush is that you just can't get enough volume to thoroughly wet out the coating.
@@Cerakote do you recommend opening up the airflow as far as a I can? I will say the black widow airbrush pushes out substantially more paint that other airbrushes so I may be able to get away with it. I think my issue was I had the air flow tightened to far down so it couldn’t wet out the putter. What do you keep your compressor air pressure at? Elite series indicates between 30-25 psi. Is that where you keep yours?

Our ventilation system is extremely powerful in our training rooms. The system is routinely tested to ensure safety. This allows the trainer and students to communicate clearly. Gloves, safety glasses are always used when needed and respirators are also available for those that want one.

Ive been looking into cerakote for a custom bike job. It looks so good, and durable to boot! I want to add bright highlights to my bike for visibility. Im thinking tequila sunrise or a teal. Perhaps a yellow but that feels a bit TDF for me? I also want to create my own retro reflective accents using reflective powder and a clearcoat/silver. Im trying to pull out all the stops on saftey, while making a cool look for the bike. Im thinking black/orange for apocalyptic vibes, or white/teal (bright blue) for Tron vibes.

Graphite Black is what we used to base coat the panels and parts you see on the site and on the video

I just finished all the steps, is it normal to see “stripes” or “lines” on the headlight during the curing process? I went in straight lines with a single pass but I can see the lines where I made my passes in the headlight in certain angles, I did it in the shade and all. Please help lol, will it go away by itself as it cures? Or should I get more wipes somehow and do a second wipe and cure?
Reach out to our customer service so they can get you sorted out. In short, you should not see lines. Our instructions call for a 50% overlap with your passes, so there are no gaps between the coatings. This is designed to be a permanent product, but you can correct it. @@Cerakote thank you, I ended up going back to Walmart and buying a second kit, and I realize that my kits wipes were dry, the second kits’ wipes were very wet and did a great job of finished both headlights without lines or streaks or anything, I can’t believe how new my headlights look

I’m curious about how cerkote holds up in the auto and offshore boating. Does daily direct sunlight fade cerakote and does daily saltwater effect it?
We do have series of coatings that are more suited to certain environments. C Series for example is extremely UV stable. We've also done rigorous salt chamber testing to test our products in salty environments to ensure they hold up and keep you protected. If you have specific questions, feel free to reach out to our tech support or customer service teams.
Whats the wait times for classes?
I would suggest giving them a ring. They'll be able to tell you what the wait times are for training at headquarters, but they can also get you in touch with one of their other training facilities across the US. Those wait times will likely be shorter, and depending on where you are, they might be closer to you as well.
